i really liked how the book hooked me in by whats going to happen when the heron is screeching (it means danger(heron))

ReplyDeleteMy favourite parts in 'Cry of the Taniwha' were the eruption because it related back to Jack Bolt, when Matt and Juzza found the body, because that also related to Jack Bolt and the way that the characters slowly changed and built up. I also thought it was really clever, the way Ol' Tane was always squawking, it was almost as if he was warning them. But overall I loved the whole BOOK!!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite parts in the 'Cry Of The Taniwha' were when they found Jack Bolts bones with the handcuffs and the skull because It related to the start of the story ! I also liked the bit about them chasing the hawk around. The explosion was also fun to listen to as well. But I liked the whole book!

I was always curious about what was gong to happen next witch hooked me in to reading it. But I loved the book and I can't wait to finish it!
ReplyDeleteI like the settings because it was noticeable and that you could actually visit the areas.I also liked the change in time from 1800's to 2000's because it made you thinks about what's changing.

ReplyDeleteThe book was awesome I Iiked the part when Matt and Eve found the diamonds in the punga candle holder and I liked the part when the steam crater exploded that was cool!
